My God, my God, why have I forsaken Thee?
I look upon Calvery's glory from the shadows.
With remorsful disdain I watch the cross on which I have spat
My burden has fallen into the grave.
Yet I use the extra energby to sin!
Lord, save me from myself!
Hosanna! I have not the will to stay away
And yet I do not have the strength to come!
O God rescue me from this dark abyss!

I dont like the message, its very religious, and I think you have to be a religious person yourself to enjoy this poetry. I am not that person so I will not go into greater detail with this poem. |
