and we’ll swiftly fade away
the worries come undone
like stars upon the night sky
pass beneath the setting sun
Would you even notice?
The passion that I play
My soul becomes the music
In a four-stringed serenade
I am a solo symphony
In a standout crowd of two
My instrument can speak my heart
I love no one but you
Can you hear the music?
I know just how it feels
Asleep I like to run away
From everything that’s real
Someday I hope you’ll hear me
For what I said is true
We were meant for making music
In a serenade for two
