When you first said it was over
My world just fell apart
Id lost my friend and lover
And had a broken heart
I knew no matter who I’d hold
They would never feel the same
I thought I never would survive
The hurting and the pain
But for a while you was still there
Although not with your heart
And the times we came together
I still knew we had to part
My world was growing darker
Our love was getting cold
I thought we would last forever
And together we’d grow old
But the day came for me to leave
And I had to walk away
From all the love I´d ever known
This was my darkest day
I fell into anothers arms
But nothing felt the same
He wasn’t who I wanted
He didn’t ease my pain
I tried to let you go
I hoped the pain would ease
But the longer I was away from you
The more my pain increased
Each time that I would see you
I’d ache to feel your heart
But with the coldness of reality
I knew once again wed have to part
Then one night while I was sleeping
An angel came to me
He said my soul was dying
And with you it needed to be
He took it by the hand
And came to find yours too
And joined them back together
With his special angel glue
He said yours souls were made together
And should never be apart
A bond that lasts forever
Like the beating of your hearts
I woke up the following morning
I knew what I must do
I had to bring myself
Back home, back to you
And now were back together
And our souls are now again as one
The pain is lost forever
The hurting is now done
Our angel who was there for us
Has been there from the start
To hold our souls together
And become the guardian of our hearts
