Give me a hint,
Just a little clue
To let me know why
I have a crush on you.
Don't make me feel silly
Or even worse, shy.
And i'll listen to what you have to say
If you just tell me why
Is it the way you listen,
And talk to me,
Or the look on your face
When I do something silly?
Is it the cute habits you have unlike no one else
That make me wish I could have you all to myself?
But you look at me and times I can't speak
It drives me crazy knowing you'll leave
I just want you to myself
But will I ever get that chance?
Times I look at you and you look back at me
Tell me just how two friends aren't meant to be?
I just want to make you smile as you make me.
I wish you saw my thoughts right through my eyes.
You ask me what i'm thinking, but i can't tell you.
But all i can say is
You are the stars at night and i'm the empty skies.
