You headed down a narrow road
You traveled to a land unseen
Where time remains a mystery
Where everything was pure and clean
Everything was pure and clean
Amazed I see the twilight sky
Bedazzled in the forest’s mist
I left the world to pass me by
Where people constantly forget
I want to live without regret
I threw away perfection
And passioned after things unique
I questioned my perception
To understand all things unseen
There’s many things I haven’t seen
I gazed atop the mountains
Above the valleys lush and green
By day I dull my senses
I sleep to wake up in my dreams
For I headed down a narrow road
I’ve traveled to a land unseen
Where time is but a mystery
Where everything is pure and clean
Everything is pure and clean

I like the line "I threw away perfection, and passioned after things unique." I also tend to seek the unique. In fact... my perception of perfection is unique lol. |

This makes me imagine getting away from life and stopping to see what is around you. People get caught up in the hustle an bustle of everyday. Rarely do they stop to appreciate what they miss and take for granted. Very nice. |
