When you move in closer...
I can feel its beat,
Steady at first, so nice and so neat.

When you move in closer,
I can feel it swell,
Pleased that you find it so warm and so well.

When you move in closer...
I can feel it quiver,
A thundering pules makes harder the shiver.

When you move in closer...
I can feel it quicken,
A minute to melt, a second to stiffen.

It is my heart, dearest.
Wanting you closer, closest,
The nearest.
