In God's infinite wisdom,
He brought unto Adam Eve.
From their union,
the first relationship was conceived.
It was not good for man to be alone.
She completed him,
for she was his own.
Not from the crown of his head,
nor the soles of his feet,
but rather a rib removed from his side.
Suggest the God appointed role in which a woman should abide.
Not above him,
nor beneath him,
yet his equal in every way.
God gave couples his blessing on that glorious day.
Although trouble arose,
resulting in deceit and blame.
Paradise was lost,
yet something still remained.
Removed from the garden,
and placed among thistles and thorns.
They still had each other,
their bond was not torn.
Was Adam even aware that he had it so well.
A woman who would stand by his side,
through heaven or hell.
