I wash my hands of unseen pain, for what is left cannot be changed
Shall I wither and blow away, or summon the strength of yesterday
Can that fire be reclaimed or will my feelings fade away
If truth is the path I must take then honor and pride I forsake
Only tomorrow can show the fate of today
Still I hope still I pray

I like it :p "only tomorrow can show the fate of today." A very clever and deep poem. And lets hope we don't have to "forsake" honor and pride to take the path of truth! |

It can be hard to face what is out of your control. It seems there are always two paths, giving up and moving forward. This is a great piece. I can really relate. |
