I see you but I don’t want to see.
I hear you, every breath, every whisper, and every heartbeat.
I feel you, the brush of your skin against mine, the way your presence is in every room, even when I’m alone.
I sense you, your thoughts, dreams, heartache.
I cry for you, for your pain, for your anguish, for yourself.
I hesitate for you, smile for you, ache for you.
I love you.
I hate you.
I miss you.
I think about you, I care about you, I worry about you.
I make mistakes, conquer armies and create worlds, all for you.
I hurt for you, I’m surrounded by you but I’m all alone.
I scream in the darkness for you, sigh your name, and etch your face into my mind.
I’ve broken my heart, ignored my instincts and torn myself apart, all for you.
I’ve lived, died and dragged myself back from Hell for you.
I’ve reached out for you and touched Heaven.
My soul is on fire; my heart is ice, heaven disintegrated.
I am all this…
And you are Love.
