I give you, the only things that I want,
That I have and need,
And still, you are saddened because you haven't enough.
I am not responsible for your own life,
Nobody else but you is, and nobody else but you ever will be,
So don't look to me to try and give me your responsibility.
My love is not a bandage to cover your wounds,
Until your cuts and rips have healed,
So you can throw away the dressing and replace it next time.
I'm not your fake plant,
Who'd die, if you forgot to pretend to water me,
I am real, probably more real than you.
You see, you're not unique or special,
You're like a billion others,
Who pretend they're unique and different, when others say the same thing.
Once your harm has been dealt to me,
Even fools can realise,
And that's what we are, fools in a poor man's world.
As the Japanese say,
Fall seven times and rise eight,
I'll always get back onto my own two feet.
Deal me your pain,
Because I catch your gaze which you aim to cause pain,
And you complain others treat you bad. Hypocrite.
So, I'll like to reliterate my third line, but in a question
With force to get it into your naive mind,
You're saddened, because you don't have enough?
Don't wear out a day before it comes,
Personally, I look at you, and I wish I had everything you do,
But I don't, and I know I have enough. Do you want some more?
