You say I'm bitter
I say you are confused
You let her walk on you
I have planted the seed in your mind
I told you she doesn't deserve you
The seed's thirst is quenched with the water
Of her nagging voice
The soil is the memories of her cold looks
Her silence when you unknowingly didn't console her
She doesn't appreciate what she has in you
And honestly I didn't either
But I know better now
When that seed of doubt as bloomed into a
Resentful thorn bush
I will be there to burn it and clear the ashes
Maybe then I can replant the seed of our lost love.
