Hello, my dear friend
So, how do you do?
You say you don't know me
Yes, that's indeed true
I'll give you three apples
So, what do you say?
Let's talk about life and smile all day
You glare at me and turn away
Forgive my rudeness, i want to say
Just wanted to share my feelings of joy
But seems it just wont work that way.
I look at the apples
red, yellow and green,
they sit together with no spaces between
and wonder if people will ever be
so friendly as the apples in basket i see.

A very poignant and sad metaphor on human behaviour becoming less sociable and yet denying who we are because we are inherently social creatures.......if people will ever be so friendly, well written esp as English is not your first language |
