There was a time that I liked you,
When you could make me smile..
For all the promises you made,
You made my life worthwhile..
I wished to be happy for ever,
But I felt I was asking for a favor..!
In an entirely different world I was,
But never knew was it mine or yours?
I don’t understand why I can’t hate you,
May be forgiving is what I have learnt..
It’ll be late when you understand,
‘Coz all that was yours would be burnt..!
Peace is what I’m looking for,
And I don’t want you anymore..
Breathing I am free and reposed
Would pray for you, now some more..!
