Autumn Senses

Bursts of orange burn to red,
A leaf's life is most meaningful before death.
Gusty winds blowing away summer dream clouds,
Crackly leaves crunch with every fall footprint.
The autumn air carries mulitiple vapors--
crispy apples mixed with pumpkins followed by
dense leafy fumes.
The autumn chill gives me a thrill as I walked
up the leaf-covered hill.
