Heartbreak

The crippling crunch of a heart breaking
Makes a mind twist in pain
A shakey sigh from unsatisfied sobs
Imaginary eyes judging your hurt as vain
Adrenaline shocks your body at the thought
Of being caught in such a state
Ribs are sore and cheeks are tired
If only everything else could wait
Until tomorrow
When waking up fresh
Seems to be all worth looking forward to
Only later to see their faces together and hear...
The crippling crunch of a heart breaking.

After reading that, you must ask, why do we love?!! A great description of the hurt and pain suffered from a break-up.
All the best, Chris. |
