Walking as a shadow in the dark
With true from yet untold
A virulent winged demon
With evil to behold
Shadows give to footsteps
Candles yield their will
Inky embrace reaches you
Release is sweet but still
A whisper in the wind
Breath upon your cheek
Gaze upon the stars
As your might grows weak
Just a prick in your flank
Done so without care
Precious humor now does flow
Leaving your soul to bare
No gold or silver the shadow wants
Your forfeit in joy was cast
The moon becomes a feather
Then you breath your last
