My one regret
will always be
how I lost love
and then lost me
when looking back
that painful spell
on virgin land
where timbers fell
I held love's hand
one last time
then walked away
with frozen mind
I'm still alive
wasting years
my one regret
I still hold dear
time please heal
this broken dream
that leads me back
to crystal streams
where timbers fall
in tears of rain
and a runaway heart
loves in vain

| Take a piece of puzzle out of one picture and try to fit into another over and over again and it just doesn't fit, you have summed this up beautifully in a very heartfelt poem..... and a runaway heart loves in vain,and communicated all the pain the frustration and the sadness well written |
