Never Be The Same

Contributed by neverlosehope on Friday, 10th September 2010 @ 03:41:20 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Never be the same,
It’s hard even mentioning your name,
Looking back I don’t know what went wrong,
But suddenly it’s like I don’t belong,
My minds like a hurricane,
Thoughts spinning and spinning,
What can I do? This depression is winning,
“Tell me what’s wrong”, that’s what you ask,
Let me roll up my sleeves and show you my past,
Self harm to help me cope,
Should I really slit my throat?
People say that I have the confidence,
That I have the smile,
I can fool everybody, even myself for a while,
Childhood memories fade,
Covered by the past, making me reach for a blade,
Yesterday and everything in between,
Has got me thinking about everything I’ve seen,
Nothing seems to matter anymore,
Why can’t it be just like it was before?
I hate him for the person I’ve become,
Take me back to before it all begun,
All this time is slowly stealing the day,
There’s nothing like the feeling that life’s slipping away,
Am I the only one under the sun?
Who feels like it’s all over before it’s begun,
Sorry for telling you I was okay,
I shouldn’t have said those lies,
I guess this is where we part and say our goodbyes...
