I close my eyes,
And pray for mercy,
In this life,
Where you all hate me.
I find it hard,
As I face each day,
No one knows,
The things I don't say.
Focus on the future,
That's what I always do,
Forget about the past,
But that isn't so true.
Living for the moment,
Isn't a great idea,
Why live for something,
That floods me with fear?
Someday I'll look back,
I'll laugh at this pain,
You can all hate me,
But no tears will you gain.

Another great write. I just love your stuff!! I, too, was bullied at school and looking back now I think why didn't I just stand up for myself? Easier when you're an adult than a child, though. Anyway, keep 'em coming and I'll keep reading.
