Mysterious Man

Contributed by Autumnlady on Tuesday, 7th September 2010 @ 03:43:28 AM in AEST
Topic: mystical

I try the best I can,
to understand this mysterious man;
He started working here not long ago,
…from what I recall, about a month or so;
He may be a Project Coordinator,
but some people think he should be an actor;
His eyes never give away any clue to his emotions,
they’re like the deepest, darkest depths of the ocean;
I’ve been told not to stare into his eyes,
for he possesses the power to hypnotize;
Some have seen the strange thing he keeps in his briefcase,
…dried poison ivy and a bird’s foot in a transparent purple case;
On his wrist, is a tattoo of a tomb and a queer-shaped shoe;
Could he be into voodoo?
He dismisses people’s doubts with a shrug and an eerie smile;
It’s strange that he dresses only in black…except on Tuesdays;
Oh well, perhaps I’ll just do as everyone I know does,
…I’ll pretend that I haven’t noticed anything strange;
I’m, sure you would do the same if you were in my place.
