Never Forever Yours

Contributed by HoneyBee28 on Monday, 6th September 2010 @ 04:51:55 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Drawn up from the pits of hell comes my soul in you...

Never did I know I was a spitfire of red hue...

Laughed in dry tears was a night so dark..

Angels stopped chorus in the name of Hark..

Demons raised from the dead only to fear thy bed..

Slapped in the face to an only known disgrace..

clouded judgment sipped by mouth..

Blood drawn horse clamped thy house..

Never forever yours from the bottom of my heart..

Your ice cold hands hit my throat like a dart..

My hair with a bow lay at the foot of your beard..

Kiss my forehead, I am forever endeared..

My breast endowed and swollen falls beneath your wing..

Never forever yours can you hear me sing..

Sing the song of forgotten pasts paths life..

Darkness falls over me like a breathless knife.

Gone silent now, nothing to be certain..

Never forever yours will I be thy burden...

I found this very deep, one of those poems that you must concentrate hard on to get the full meaning.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
