Something Different

Contributed by dewy666 on Monday, 6th September 2010 @ 06:11:48 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

The world is mine for the taking,
It is also mine for the taking,
I live everyday like my last,
And never worry about the past,
Life can be a real *****,
When you are lying drunk in a ditch,
I need to escape from this madness,
Whilst i write time passes,
To quick to realize,
What is in the skies,
The clouds fluffy and white,
Perfect time to fly a kite,
Unwind, take time out,
I know that without a doubt,
That solitude in a peaceful place,
Is never a bad idea or disgrace,
More of relaxation,
Time for reflection,
By ones self alone,
Never knowing what's done,
Until word of mouth reaches,
And the peace it breaches,
That people can't say face to face,
But get others to say it in place,
Of themselves for no reason but,
For what I'm stuck in a rut,
The familiar sound of the bearer of bad news,
Ranting and raving until the issue is solved with muse,
Frustration and anger,
I can bear no longer,
The peace of mind,
Won't be left behind,
And company,
Is soon to be,
Brings me back to reality,
Kicking and screaming,
What's done is done and can't be changed,
And afterward i feel estranged,
For whatever reason things go wrong,
I need to find somewhere i belong,
Be sure there is always someone to blame,
Hiding away the feeling of shame,
Watching, waiting for you to make your move,
Just to go and bring you down,
Make you feel and look like a clown,
Embarrassed, ashamed,
They are never named,
Stupid mind ****** who,
Are mentally toying with you,
Caring not for anyone but themselves,
Looking for a cheap laugh at the expense of someone else,
Hoping that they feel the same as the abuser,
Thinking they are smart and clever,
But i have poured out my heart and soul,
Its left collecting in a bowl,
Never stopping, so much love to give,
To someone with whom i could live,
Someone for me to acquit,
And be with,
It's a myth,
That they say love is blind,
With so many people whit who we intertwine,
Never give love to someone who will quit,
With no one to receive it,
Will make you feel unloved,
And feel shoved,
Out of the way,
Feeling astray,
It still wont stop pouring out,
But without a doubt,
The best course of action,
Is one that is spoken,
Get out there and make a difference,
With you pride and conscience,

I think you've mixed several poems into one. What is this poem really about? Keep writing, I think you do have something that needs to be said.
