The evils con-sealed all exits
as the cruel and the bile trapped us in fear,
I held my blade tight with my beaten soul,
yet humored smiles gazed down upon futile efforts.
My sword blade flickered in the night
as i watched her quivering by my side,
My final breathes i pledged to her safety
and the fears which tied my heart easily subsided.
A dark cloud rained in that moment of despair,
I instilled hope, which was every dying heroes trend,
Their shadows grew larger under the full moon
as they readied to write my warrior's end.
My heart raged in the dark,
yet my blade struck futile blows,
I fought for every second of my fading time,
The Villains tore me down to a breathless pause
as they proclaimed the sins of my love, a crime.
"Stay away from her!" my friend used to say,
yet the heart knows no boundaries in this world,
I then smiled as my body struck the ground
she would be safe now, without this heavy clam
and she will sparkle forever, My sweet pearl.
The sounds of her voice droned to a fading pause,
Her face was the last beautiful thing I saw.
I then went gently into the night.
An autumn leaf floating upon a comforting breeze
my Shangri-la awaits
my paradise beyond the yellow seas.
"Memories are the rewards of this life,
My freedom is now at the hand of death's knife,
I shall drift to an eternity of our beautiful memories,
as I catch my appointment in the afterlife."
