TOMORROW

Contributed by chrisdavid on Tuesday, 31st August 2010 @ 12:17:55 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

You're lost in thought
You once again feel distraught
All your hopes turn to desperation
As you plan a life of desolation

You're crying again
You keep reliving all your pain
You don't know where to go, or what's good for you
But you're the only one who knows what to do

And when you lose your trust in the truth
When you've run out of words to make an excuse
There is still so much more you can give
If only you close your eyes and start to live

You're thinking again
How your life can't be the same
Never again you hear the lies to break your heart
You're the only one who can make a fresh start

You're smiling again
Gone away is your stress and all the strain
No more tales of all your sorrow
You're the only one who can change tomorrow

A truly nice poem so soothing
It arranges for calm breathing

Words are very skillfully handled
Sadness thrown away bundled

Philosophy and thought clubbed
Healing balm on mind rubbed

In a gist, a lovely contribution
To the poem my congratulation.

With best wishes, Thanking you, Yours truly,

M V VENKATARAMAN
