Forever There

Attraction developed a friendship.
Friendship grew romantic emotion.
Feelings flourish whenever you are near,
Heart pounds to near explosion.

Tender is your heart,
Within it lies my oasis.
Every second without your warmth,
My heart yurns for your kiss

Your eyes stare deep into mine,
Through your lips those words flow
Within my longest moment in life,
Emotions run rampant like a tornado.

A simple hug of only a short time,
Seemed to extend for hours.
As our emotions coinside,
This indestructible feeling empowers.

This path we have decided to take,
On this journey for our souls repair.
Only this one thing I can promise,
That I will always be forever there.

Honestly, this is a wonderful poem. It is simple and straightforward, and it rhymes really well.

This poem made me cry, it makes me think of my marine that is deployed in japan right now. It's such a great poem thank you for your incredible talent at writing this poem :)
