The Weed

Contributed by Ali on Friday, 18th April 2003 @ 04:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Was it Planted?
Or had it been,
In the soil from the start?

The tears I cry,
water it,
The feelings I cannot feel,
feed it.

The weed grows,
Breaking me on the inside,
So no one will see,

Untill it is so big,
That it could break through my skin.
So big it becomes me.

Right now it is so strong,
The pressure pushing out,
That sometimes I cut myself,
To let something out and give relief.

But the weed will still grow.
