My Art

Contributed by vr2776 on Tuesday, 24th August 2010 @ 09:28:46 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

Poetry is the door to my soul
What’s inside these words
are the deep waters I hold

Waters of abstract art
as defined by my mind,
though sometimes dark

Misunderstood they are to thee
Though normal they are,
They are to me

These words that flow within
Can explain so much
of where I go and where I've been

a Journey into my life you will find,
Through the words I write
the many things inside

Fears, Tears, Happiness and Joy
the emotions of Life,
things I hate and enjoy

Walking the road of words I form
You will find it come to life
And this for me is the norm

The words stir and jumble around
I begin to write it out
And new meanings are found

Released from my soul, the words are free
Into a rhyme they go, but don’t
Read it at face value or will not see

See into the words and what they mean
It’s an artistic piece
A story of my life, part of a scene

Poetry is art in its truest depth
Let your mind go
The words will flow now, the piece is set…
