White Picket fence

If you spent a friday evening at my house growing up
you would be entertained for the night. See no
one really knows the pain that lies inside a perfect
picture. The white house with the red door and
it's shiny white picket fence. My father would be
on the couch in a xannax coma, while my mother
is in her walk in closet on the phone with her boyfriend.
My older brother in his basement bedroom sticking
needles in his arm. Two young boys playing vidio
games with tension running through them while
their older sister gets ready for meaningless parties.
If you stepped inside my house the pretty granite
counter tops in the kitchen and shiny wood floors
will decieve you. There are damaged pieces of all
of us inside that house our souls screaming to be
let out. We always keep the ghosts at bay but soon
enough their sure to catch up on us all.
