Taking things very slow,
Has never crossed my mind.
I never really took thought,
About my actions so confined.
You make me think about the future,
And with who that time will be spent.
How often I've stayed up in wonder,
Leaving my thoughts in torment.
How my eyes have been opened,
To that special light you so shine.
Your brilliant light brings hope,
To this lost soul's endeavor, asinine.
Whenever we are together,
Joy overcomes my soul's sorrows.
Your endless love and compassion,
Is all my heart now knows.
Like being ontop of a hill,
My life's journey I can see.
As long as you're by my side,
Our everlasting happiness sets me free.
