Can I dream life is perfect
Can I dream I'm a movie star
Can I dream millions of people screaming my name and asking for autographs
Can I dream of living on my own beautiful island
Secluded from everyone in my own fairytale land
At night on the beach watching the sunset
Feet dragging along in the sand
Can I dream of a gorgeous husband inside and out
Can I dream of an unbreakable heart
Huh what is that you say?
Am I dreaming to big
Can I dream? Can I dream?

In this world of logic we live in today, I often wonder myself whether there is a place for blind faith or dreaming without any logical basis. But dreaming is part of what makes us human. If we can't dream of something, we're stuck with the misery of what we've actually got...and where's the fun in that?

| I can totally relate, I love to dream! I just wrote a similar poem along the same lines called "What if...." Keep up the good work, look forward to reading more. |
