Judgement Day

Contributed by Daniellemarie on Wednesday, 18th August 2010 @ 10:15:17 PM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

I woke up on a rainy tuesday morning just a little over a week of that terrible procedure.
I knew by the heavy sound of the rain flooding my streets, my neighbors fancy bushes
and flowers.....that this was judgement day and the cross I bare was no longer convinceing
god my dedication to him. It was better off ripped right of my neck, his punishment is now
mine to take, I don't know yet egactly what it is he wishes I do to repent my sin
but lord knows im trying hard to embrace him back in. I cant expect not to be held
responsible for my actions, you can't do something like that and expect life to accomidate
you just like before. Do you want me to lay down and die? Do you want me to cry
some more and more? Please forgive me and let me live on. I thought jesus allready
paid for our sins when they nailed him to the cross so why? why is it you won't
let this go?

Is this a true account of something that has happened to you? If so, what have you done that's so bad that you aren't being forgiven?
