Brother, brother my big brother what happened to you?
When we were young and so free you were so strong,
my hero. I followed your footsteps, I read every book
you liked. Every movie you watched I watched it with
you. Every painting I painted I threw out if you didn't
approve. Every poem I wrote I erased it if you said
that it sucked. I listened to your music and believed
in your eccentric ways, you were the coolest person
in the world to me. When you started doing drugs
I thought for sure it was just one of your phases.
When you started sticking needles in your arm I
never was the same. You turned in to just another
cliche, a Junkie. You had the world at your fingertips
you were so rare and so smart but destroyed yourself.
I would have given anything to have your boldness and
your millions of talented ways. You let me down so much
you let me down in ways I could never describe. I used
to look up to you and now I fear everyday you won't wake up.

Blood is thick
so it hurts more
when things go wrong.
Well done. |
