Broken Promises

He'll cut you with a knife
then cry while you bleed.
He'll take away the pain,
then inflict it again.
Demonic actions
with the words of an angel,
"I'll make it up to you"
until the next time, stranger.

Broken promises,
weakness, a disease.
His non committal attitude,
still he begs me please.
Search for the hypocrite,
it'll take you years to find him.
I've seen it once,
I've seen it twice,
still I can't seem to fight him.
