Love = Pain

Love is a ride that never ever ends.
Your heart will get broken, but then it mends.
Finding it is like a bright sunny day.
Birds chirping, people laughing, want to stay.
Everything seems surreal, just like a dream.
Although, in the long run, you lose your team.
It becomes just you; don’t know what to do.
You feel like your frozen, can’t even move.
Your heart is shattered; your whole life is ruined.
You lock yourself up in your dark, dark room.
They beg you to come out, but it’s too late.
You have already decided your fate.
Pick up the bottle; swallow one by one.
Until there’s no more and you are all done.
Slowly, slowly, you start to fade away.
Floating into nothingness; starts to say.
“God, forgive me for this sin I have caused.
I am weak inside; I just want it gone.”
You see a bright light, as bright as the sun.
He takes you in his arms, and says, “Young one,
It is not your time; you have much to do.
Return, you will see, everyone loves you.”
You hear murmured voices, open your eyes.
Everyone’s around you; you start to cry.
Because you have realized it’s not the end.
But a new beginning, your heart will mend.
