I'm not at all who i used to be
I've let the old me die
I've tried so hard and dug so deep
to see if i'm still alive
Memories are signs of life
that there was a better me
imprints of the tears i've cried
and who i used to be
I burried myself some years ago
I felt that me was weak
I sought for love and warmth when cold
thats who i used to be
Sometimes i try to imitate
the way i used to see
who i am now cannot create
the way i used to be
If i could do it all again
I know what i'd want for me
to feel whats real and not pretend
and be who i used to be.

I like this poem alot and I deeply relate to it. Sometimes as life goes by pieces of us die little by little and strip us of our identity.
