Where would her love be in the pitch of night?
Encased by wings of a star darkened moon
Too quick to bring to her thoughts which might
Fetch an adoration crudely hewn
Time, its sentence and the slow sweet pain
It is such that makes one languish in hold
Gathering her stones upon a desolate plain
Hoarding her treasure of love untold
What cloying lies this life does tell
Stealing stones gathered from her till
Latria once given a low death knell
Her love, once fire now elicits a chill
Time and circumstance, ally and foe
Educes a love which continues to grow

Some great lines in this, especially:
'Time, its sentence and the slow sweet pain'
