All the flowers in my garden
melt whenever it rains.
Their colors run along the street
into the city’s drains.
The garden’s left a black and white
with random vomit stains,
and now my life has left my soul.
So suffocates my brain.

As I've shared with everyone who has written a censorship poem, I'm doing a paper from a speech about censorship that I wrote. The assignment is to take a persuasive speech we did and turn it into a paper or an essay, if you will. I decided to find some interesting poetry on censorship and yours is a vivid picture of which I'd love to paint in my paper.
Bravo with this one. I love it and relate totally.
Love,
Chelsea |
