remember when we were all alone at night,
talking for hours and hours.
remember when we weren't afraid to be alive,
long nights and fun times in the summer,
remember when you showed me your cool moves,
and i stood there, feeling so lame.
remember when i was so in love,
never imagining you playing a game.

but now,
i'm proven wrong.

so turn the lights off,
and unplug the wires,
there's no need for them.
and blow the candles out,
throw water on the fire,
get rid of that flame.
i'm turning my love off
and putting out our spark.

i know what you said to all those girls,
you said the exact to me too.
there was a heart surrounding us,
but now it's broken in more than two.
you were shinin' as bright as the sun,
now you're as dull as the new moon.
you were as high as the mountains in the sky,
now you're lower than the deep blue.

so turn the lights off,

for thinking about you everyday.
i still really want you,
