The lines on this paper,
form words in my eyes.
Floating in mid-air,
on a brain wave sky.
And the music was fine,
made my soul feel more true.
Floating in mid-air,
on a brain wave with you.
All the while eyes locked,
somehow it so seems.
Floating in mid-air,
on a brain wave of dreams.
And in slow motion,
what we're holding, we trade.
Floating in mid-air,
on the same brain wave.

It is odd how some people can just have that chemistry (and be literally on that same wavelength) whereas others have no chemistry at all and it's all a confusing and (usually) hostile mess. Is it really just hormones and chemicals that create a 'connection', or is fate?
Now how's that for rambling! I ramble more than a journalist who's paid by the word...
