love is a poison

Contributed by mehuel on Monday, 9th August 2010 @ 12:27:11 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

love is a poison if it's not embraced
it's a two way street where souls confide
in this thrift of heart not even the mind's possessed
as the gleam of her eyes leaves you entirely perplexed

if she is an angel, I should build a shrine
in the tales of future her beauty I should define
but what felicity would suffice for this unworldly seraph
if only her eternal liveliness words could describe?

Her mysterious beauty is of most alluring nature
curiosity entices and tempts you to be enslaved
and you couldn't help but ask if she's too surreal
but even that seems to pass with her ineffable smile
on her crimson hued lips and eyes that are perfected to hide

her eyes too seem to laugh on the uselessness of your question
and you hear her trembling lips say "it's only your inane attraction"
still you persevere to delve into this multitude
in an eternal quest, to unravel the depths of her beatitude
but just taking one leap ends up being a free fall
there is no way out, no floors no stairs no walls...
