So this is it
There's no turning back
We have run out of time
Your plane leaves soon
And when it does, I will sit there
With these thoughts of mine
What if I had told you how I felt?
That if you leave my heart would start to melt
Would it be enough to keep you here today?
Or would I have to stand and watch you fly away?
The years have passed
With all the time we shared
I thought we had it all
I took for granted
Everything we seemed to have
I was such a fool
What if I told you how much you meant to me?
If I cried would you begin to see?
I don't know if there is anything else I can say
I don't want to stand and watch you fly away
As you walk from me you start to cry
You turn around to wave your last goodbye
You will still have my heart forever, come what may
As I just stand and watch you fly away

| wow this poem is so amazing... i was almost in tears.. because it made me think of losing myloved ones :( ... this is a moving poem..keep on writing |
