Show of Support

Topic: Patriotic

It's a story that has been told time and again,
A bright young soldier whose life comes to an untimely end,
The names, the faces, are too many to recall,
They all have one thing in common, they died answering the call,

To most of you, you'll never understand,
What a soldier goes through when the call comes in,
A time to reflect, a time to cry, most of all, time to say goodbye,
Not knowing if you'll come home, place your life in God's hands and you're never alone,

In a world that's gone mad, America's future is placed in these soldiers' hands,
From 17 to 40 we've all raised our hand, took the oath to fight till the bitter end,
It's the soldiers that die, and the soldiers that fight,
Allowing you to protest as one of your rights,

From the beaches of Normandy and before, to the jungles of Vietnam and the Iraq war,
Soldiers have come and gone, but they have done it all in the name of freedom,
So the next time you want to get mad, remember the mother that cries, or the child that lost their mom or dad,
To some, it was our choice, but to those who made it, please show them your support.

Forever Faithful
The Phantom

Well hello , friend.
Awesome write.
It's good to know you are still with us on this planet'
Are you still deployed?
Well here in Arkansas it's been hot at times the heat factor is 115 degrees. I can understand a little better what you guys go thru except you temps are higher than ours.
You stay safe and you're always in my prayers and never too far from my heart. I haven't forgotten you.
Big huggs, blessings, safety,
emy

I am VERY thankful for you and all the armed forces. I am pretty sure I have said all I have had to say before so this time I'll just stand here and applaud.

*applauds*

With deepest respect.

Tim
