Painful Tears

It’s been a while since I saw you last,
I whisper in her ear,
My the times sure have past,
Over the very painful year.
The tears run down my cheek
I can’t believe what I see,
You used to be unique,
But now you’re a drugy.
You were once so fine,
How can you do this to your body?
Now this draws the line,
Why did you have to be naughty?
You were once fun to be with
You would never quit a game
Those fun times now our just a myth
You bring nothing but shame.
I reach out my hand,
In order to help you
But you just take a stand
And I try to mention how I have been there to.
Fine, if you don’t want my help
Than there’s nothing I can do.
But the next time you scream and yelp
I want you to know that I will miss you.
I try to explain,
What drugs do to you mind.
They slow down the brain
And put you in a bind.
They make you smell,
And cough and gag
The wheezing and coughing will fill like hell
I’m not just trying to nag.
The fact is I’ve been there
The drugs almost made me die,
It gave me quit a scare
Because I thought I would have to say good bye.
If you find yourself at a sudden loss of sight
Or if you find yourself out of breath
And can’t get to sleep at night
Beware because next comes death.
