Truth
Born in too world we are,
Without knowledge or consciousness of our own self.
And life is good.
Years pass, knowledge is gained,
Self consciousness is gained,
Ego is born, ego is hungry
Through appreciation, love or hate,
Ego grows, a center is born
But not the true self center
The center is but a reflection of what others think
Ego becomes more complex,
And ever growing
Society, molding you, fitting in,
Lost, lost in self, lost in life
And life is meaningless
Years pass, knowledge is gained
Self consciousness grows deeper
The reflection shatters, ego shatters
True self is born in its place
Peace is born in its place
And life is good once more.

this was an awsome write friend, i felt your words of truth. i have writtin the very alike labled as "no title" well...i havec alot with that title. but w/e.. i loved this one, and the place of peace we find ourselfs, may just be in non-excistents. |
