She stands and stares for hours
In the bathroom mirror at the pale girl standing there.
She clutches her skin to her bones,
Trying to hug it closer so she can block out the cold.
But the mirror will soon crack
As she feels a rush of blood to the head.
And the hunger is her friend,
The way it makes her bend and twist and turn across the cracks.
And the pain will never end
'Cause it's impossible to mend
Those scars she hides under her skin.
Those bright white lights in her head
Blind her so deliciously and block her horizon.
From time to time she wishes she could be dead,
But the euphoria is priceless, she won't give in to it.
And the hunger is her friend,
She loves it,
She loves it.
