I made the list today
as I heard the children play,
the patter of feet outside my closet door.
Glass in hand
tinged pink,
flowing words that I abhoar.
Least read poems a place to be
a raft
anything
for a sailor stranded at sea.
Random words
mindless dribble,
it is in these things that I like to quibble.
So read my poem, least or lots
while I pull apart forget-me-nots.
