You say you're leaving
that's okay
you didn't love me anyway,
emotional torture
was your claim to fame
you drugged me with love
and I couldn't get away.
I had moments of clarity
when I knew I had to get away
but you'd medicate me
fooling me once again,
feels like there is nothing
nothing I could do
to be free of you.
Here
In the day room
of loves insane state
there are others like me
who just can't escape,
as I wonder
should I except my fate
try and get a long...
I'm thinking
I really like this jacket
but
the sleeves are much to long.

I love the last two lines:
"I really like this jacket, but the sleeves are much too long."
It seems you are trapped in a state of ambivalence, as am I, and every word of this seemed to come from my own mind. Keep writing!
