I listened carefully to my heart beat ..
In attempt to figure what he's been trying to say ..
Is it agony that he can't defeat?
Or my hurt feelings that he can't treat?
To find out there's only one way ..

I reached for my pen, drenched it into my vein ..
Let my heart spill out what's within ..
And just as blood ran upon the sheet ..
Silence overcame my own heart beat ..

That's when the clock breaks the silence ..
And roars loudly with such violence ..
Announcing the most unpleasant visitor of all ..
At midnight that's when the darkness falls ..

The end of my world has come at the end of the day ..
light sends out the last rays in attempt to guide my way ..
That's when shadows take part ..
Ending the life that never got to start ..
And now that i'm so hollow and cold ..
Death has taken my soul to another world ..

That was smart and filled with words that make it sound blood drenched, but yet it appears to be something that Romeo might have written to Juliet as a note of farewell.
