THE LITTLE FIREFIGHTER

THE LITTLE FIREFIGHTER

A firefighter was working on an engine outside
his station,
when he noticed a little girl nearby with her
pigtail head a bobbin'
her small red wagon had ladders hung off the sides
and a big garden house tightly coiled in the
middle glides.

She was wearing a firefighter's helmet, and
was adorable to say the least!
he'd seen her many times before, imitating
firemen, perfect was her "artiste!"
this time she had her dog and kitty cat with her.
he walked over to take a closer look, "That
sure is a nice fire truck, how clever!"
he said.

"Thanks," the little girl replied.
then he looked a little closer, tied to the wagon
was the dog and the cat was also tied.
the dog was tied by his collar, and the cat by it's testicles
"little partner," the firefighter said, I don't want to tell
you how to run your rig, but I think you have troubles."

"If you were to tie that rope around the cat's collar,
you could go faster I reckon........."
"you're probably right," she answered thoughtfully,
but then I wouldn't have a siren!"

This was sent to me by
a dear friend in an email
without an Author
The poem is mine!

a human being only becomes human at all
by imitating other human beings."
