I’m not trapped
But I am confused
I don’t feel poor
But I observe cruelty
I carry no bruises
Or scars on my face
Breaking down walls
Then I witness all hate
Whistling clouds floating by
Turn to gusts of wind in the evening sky
The splintering cold brushes against my face
Fallen, frightened, furious fears are now your pain
Can it be that I only notice
That nobody else knows where they’re heading
Hate is repulsive
Hate is irritating
Two choices, good or bad
In the whole world that is left unsaid…
Brothers, sisters, moms, and dads
Our acting upon the evil in their mentality and spirit
And you ask why the world is distant
Does ANYBODY recognize what is going on
It cannot come close to complication
Stressing, pushing, urging
Consider long and hard
Billions of people pack this world
Just a dozen fill ones heart
Pain is a cringe in ones heart and soul
Pain is like blacken dark coal
And no one seems to care that people vanish
And no one seems to care that people are hurt
Suffering, miserable, and aching
It will survive within you and it won’t ever go away
